These are a little cheaper than McGuckins so I ordered four more and they will be sent to Jack & Eileen’s. I will promptly replace those batteries with the better ones when I get there. -The price on the linked one is incorrect. $8.58 apiece. If it had free shipping the final fee would have been lower. Barely under $40, as it is.-I have the shower rod clips modification done and we held the whole thing up in the tub earlier to see how it will look when it is screwed in. Joe is doing the window trim today and possibly at the wall and ceiling too. I hope the curtain fix works, I spent an awful lot of time researching, running around and painstaking fabrication. -I sliced a couple skin layers off the tip of my thumb last evening while slicing cabbage. A little messy, but I hustled straightaway to the bath to get a bandage on it. It smarted… or should I say stupided pretty bad !-The weather has been fab here. A bit warmish in the day but great temps overnight. A good day in progress, hope yours is too !

Awwww. I looked at your link and the hummingbird light is so sweet! Did you say that you are keeping a few of the lights for your garden?-Sorry to hear about your hurt thumb. I hope it is a lot better now. I know this is different but when I go to donate blood they do a screening to check if you have enough iron by pricking your finger and putting the drop of blood in a test tube.-On my 4th donation… The male nurse was very nice, friendly and helpful but he REALLY hurt my finger when he pricked it. Even with the plaster on it still throbbed. I thought to myself “Take it easy, mate” LOL.-I am glad you had a great day. I did also.

In regard to our amazing 141 comments yesterday. I scrolled through them and counted 31 which were either by trolls or inspired by them. Still 110 is not too shabby.

I think yesterday’s strip was excellent, even Smythe-worthy. Today’s is mediocre at best. (I am referring to the writing – not the artwork.)
