NATE: There! I've redone my bulletin board to display all my art masterpieces! FRANCIS: They...uh...all kind of look alike. NATE: No duh. Francis! I'm exploring a theme! Picasso had his "blue" period...Gaugin had his "tropical" periods...I have my "Mrs. Godfrey being attacked by wild animals" period. FRANCIS: I've never seen chipmunks look quite so vicious.

Went to a retail store, they had Halloween displays up already. My first thought was to get 4th of July out of the way first. Then I realized this is August. Summer is going by too quickly for me.

At the risk of being unpopular with the younger people, I think the need for an extended summer break has run its course. This was started when children were needed to help their parents on the farms. I would propose a 3-semester year with two weeks off at the end of each: September to December, January to April, May to August.
