Mmmmm…….. Hose water.

If it passes the Rover taste test, it must be good!

I can still close my eyes and conjure up the smell and taste of hose water. Well balanced with a hint of aging rubber, bug parts and grass clippings. The wine of childhood!

Drank a lot of hose water as a kid. Good stuff.

I hate hose water.

Ew… never liked it even as a kid.

What do you mean “Used to”? Had to get some water for the gods the other day and decided to take a sip. Memories, made me feel young again, if only for a moment.

We used to do a lot of things that we won’t do, can’t do or not allowed to anymore.

My parents always told me I would get Polio or Cancer if I drank from the hose; not to mention lead poisoning but we did it anyway. You just had to watch if the hose was sitting in the sun otherwise that first sip was a scorcher!

Always had to get a long drink from the hose after riding our bikes in the cloud behind the mosquito fogger.

Hose water actually tastes like hose.

Now, hose water just tastes like Monsanto…

I always drink out of the hose right after watering my garden. I’ve been doing it for years and guess what, I’m still here, healthy & happy.Bottled water is a joke that people keep paying exorbitant prices for.

Hot day…lots of sweat from hard playing…cold hose water (let your baby brother/sister drink first so They swallow all the spider parts!)…Nirvana ;)

And to dzw330 and mightaswellbe…Yeah, it’s been about 50 years. According to the class reunion website, the kids from my neighborhood are starting to drop dead on a fairly regular basis. Out of 16 or so within a couple of blocks, more than a quarter have died…Must have been the DDT! : )
