That once happened to my wife when she was eating some fish at the beach: a seagull dived down and stole it from her. It all went in a flash and gone was her fish.
I still remember last summer, I saved a baby rabbit from a Cat, and the Hawk had a baby rabbit lunch. I was standing 3 feet away from the rabbit when the hawk took the rabbit.
Similar event happened to my wife several years back and it was at Busch Gardens in Tampa Fl. She had bought some kind of pastry snack and had just stepped away from the concession stand when a gull flew down and took half of it. If looks could kill, that bird should have died on the spot.

I saw a bald eagle fly across the road while I was driving with a fox in its talons. A sight I’ll never forget.
