The snakes left when they realized they were outnumbered.

Hmm, the first I’ve heard of the Rebekah Riots. Obviously they have nothing to do with the woman,s branch of the IOOF.And I know when they were first formed..\\//_

The snakes were there because they were called back into session for a vote.

How did they know the snakes weren’t there on business?

Those snakes were elected… and had 2 legs.

Blood transfusions were dangerous enough in the beginning. Before the 1900’s when the first three blood types were discovered. Using Sheep’s blood though? He would have a better chance with a Milk transfusion, and yes, they used milk before finding out saline solution was safer.

If it had been a toll barge, it would have been a drag……..
