You mean Dagwood? Blondie is his wife. The movie serials always had Dagwood yelling “Bloooooooondie!!!” whenever something went wrong. A pre-cursor to “I Love Lucy”. I learned all that in my “Ancient Sitcoms – the Early Tele-vonian Era”. :-D
