My high school mascot was a person (Viking) and my college mascot was a dog. Worked out fine. Cats do rule, though…in some households.

My school almost voted in a type of dog for the mascot; I was warned if this happened our cheerleaders would be referred to by the competition as dogs; we went with mountain lionsour chief rival were the dragons; always wished that was ours
