People forget [or ignore] the bible is a collection of stories, copied, translated between languages, [complied by a pagan emperor] over thousands of years by thousands of individuals with their own agenda. The reality of the original text has not been preserved. Sticking to the original Golden Rule is more useful, less stress and bloodshed. It’s easier to explain to the children as well.
It really confuses me why those who do not believe what The Bible says are so critical of those who do. What ever happened to the live and let live philosophy I hear about from this group.I know there are religious fundamentalist out there (every religious group has them)But to judge an entire belief system because of a few extremists is wrong.

There’s a question about the location but I’m not aware of any questions about IF, other than those that doubt the entire Bible anyway.

When my church is low on funds, we have to cut programs, and that means turning needy people away. Not good.

BTW, is it me or does the Padre look like Sen Belfry?

But isn’t rejection of organized religion a religion in and of itself? Free thinking with no responsibility… interesting concept

Aren’t most religious leaders just politicians with funny collars?
