Tomorrow is the first new first run Doonesbury Sunday in 3 months, but daily (Monday thru Saturday) Doonesbury reruns continue until mid November.

One source says the words were written by Homer Shively some time in the 30s. The same tune was used by Woody Guthrie for “So Long, It’s Been Good to Know You.”

No matter who wrote it, it’s a good one.Unfortunately, it reminded me of something that came to me a few years ago – I’ve inflicted it on another comments page in the past, but can’t remember which one. Luckily, it’s so late that hopefully no one but me will have to see this:
