    Many domesticated animals were taken by sevens into the Ark see Genesis 7:2. Hens aren’t mentioned in the OT but they were certainly domesticated in NT times – :before a cock crows, you will deny me thrice"

    The rules on clean animals weren’t handed out until a book or two later on so that doesn’t work very well. Kind of like Moses not knowing where he is buried, you’d think he’d be the first to know.
