Did you know that monkeys and chimps and apes know how to use back scratchers? That means they’re probably smarter than the lead guy…

Whoa, what do you want? No progress at all? This has happened with every succeeding generation and will continue to happen. That’s why it’s called progress. New things are developed and embraced by the coming generation and the old things are passed by on the wayside.

One of the reasons I refuse to “upgrade” to a smartphone… Everyone I see with one cannot seem to put it down, and they are constantly staring at their device in their hand, oblivious to everything else around them. I’ve seen so many people distracted by their devices that they become a danger to not only themselves, but to everyone else around them. How many people walk into walls, poles, or other people while ambulatory because of their smartphones? How many people are menaces behind the wheel while mobile, again because of their communication devices that they cannot put down?I say smart phones are for stupid people.

I’m really curious what will happen when that generation comes up for air and realizes that there’s no one left to clean their house, earn their living, shop for their food or, HORRORS!, fix their phones or make new ones when theirs die. I have a vision of large groups of people sitting around, phone in hand, hopelessly pushing buttons on phones that will never again answer the call (no pun intended.)

(btw, that is something else missing here, the ability to bold, italicize or quote comments) >>>>>>>

You can Bold by hitting the * key on each side of what you want to emphasize in bold letters. For italization hit the underscore _ key on each side of what you want . To quote comments, all you have to do is copy and paste
