Tracy was out in the storm of the century with Mordred not all that long ago.

Who do you you think would win in a fight? Dick Tracy or Chuck Norris?

I see Hy Pressure gets no slack from Tracy…..but I’ll bet that he never gets to Police HQ thanks to BB Eyes and his crew.

I’m thinking that maybe after Dick, Sam, and Lizz take Hy in for questioning, that B-B Eyes, Mumbles, Doubleup, and the Consortium arrive leading to all sorts of wacky hijinks. And bloodthirsty action. And gut-wrenching tragedy.

My bet is that Tracy and the MCU never get Pressure to HQ; instead, the representatives of the Apparatus and of the Consortium will arrive before Tracy leaves, and the storm of the century will turn white-hot….

Tracy can charge him right now anyway- he heard him threaten harm to Wheaton’s daughter.

I hope DT doesn’t attempt another ‘power approcah’ like he did when he was driving with Dr. Mordred!

Maybe there will be a sharknado. That would definitely add some spice to the events. For those who don’t know what a sharknado is, I wish I was still as oblivious.

Called it! Pressure was just a day late. He may have a point about the weather though. They ought to just cuff him until morning or whenever this thing moves through. I’m wondering now if the bullet he catches will be a stray or intentional.

Hy Pressure’s in a desperate position. No telling what he’s likely to do now.

VB, you beat me to it! I can hear Hy Pressure now: “You Idiot! If we go to the station, I’m driving! I heard about your ’Power Approaches!”

Remember the tragedy of the Frankenstein story? The little girl is killed with a hug. So……where’s Nellie?

since Norris and tracy are both around 80, I’d say two cardiac arrests would make it a draw. Let’s move on people.

Greetings Tracy Fans! Who was the better detective all time? Tracy or the Inspector from the Pink Panther cartoons? You notice how both he and Tracy wore the yellow hat and trench coat? Must have been detective dress code!

JPuz,.Re your comment below:.“Neither, since the fight would never happen, seeing as they’re both lawmen and would have no reason to fight.”.First of all, Chuck Norris isn’t a cop. He played one on TV (and played several in the movies)..That aside, it’s a common trope in the comics for good guys to mistake each other for bad guys and tear up the place in consequence of that error. It goes all the way back to the epic battles between the Human Torch and the Submariner in the 5th issue of The Human Torch, or between Bulletman and Spy Smasher in several consecutive issues of Whiz Comics. .It became such a common device that Marvel Comics actually treated it humorously in some issues..Sticking to crime fiction, one of my all-time favorite private eye novels, Double in Trouble by Richard S. Prather and Stephen Marlowe, is a series cross-over between Prather’s Hollywood-based PI, Shell Scott, and Marlowe’s globe-trotting DC-based shamus, Chet Drum. Throughout the first two-thirds or so of the novel, the two protagonists, who narrate in alternate sections, are each convinced that the other is working for the bad guys, but continually just miss each other as they pursue their separate investigations. .When their paths finally cross, they settle their differences pugilistically. In this case, it comes essentially to a draw, as they work out their misunderstandings, and come to realize that they’re both pursuing the same set of bad guys..Point is, it’s not altogether outside the realm of possibility for Tracy and one of Norris’s characters (should a corss-over ever be arranged), to misunderstand the motives of the other, and, in consequence, come to a violent confrontation..Re Chris’s original humorous query:.Were Tracy to ever go up against Walker-Texas Ranger (or Lone Wolf McQuade, or Jake Wilder, or Danny O’Brien, or Eddie Cusack, etc. etc. etc.), I’d go with the Norris character if it was hand-to-hand (given Norris’s world championship martial arts creds), but with Tracy if it was a shootout..Be close either way, though.

I have a feeling if they take Hy Pressure downtown for questioning, he’ll never get there.

Mumbles, BB Eyes, Doubleup, Pressure’s sharpshooter—It seems like it would be difficult for anyone to get a clean shot in this raging storm. Visibility would be next to zero.

With this storm growing worse and the proximity of Wheaton’s farm to the old granary, Tracy must be having a hell of a case of Déjà vu.

Then how about Sharnado 3: Sharks On A Plane starring Samuel L. Jackson where this storm breaks out on an airplane and deposits sharks…….

    Never mind.

I beg your pardon. I can turn on a certain channel and “Walker, Texas Ranger” is on wall-to-wall….. endless episodes back-to-back. And he is a Texas Ranger, which is as high as you can go in law enforcement in Texas.

To Jim Doherty, Chuck Norris solves a major crime an hour, allowing ample time for the commercials. Not too many of them, though, as the marketing coverage isn’t very desirous. He must go through a case of hand lotion a day because of all the Karate chops. I dunno how he keeps his boots shined, either, as he plants them in baddies’ mouths on the average of once every 10 minutes.

It would be funny if the ghost of Mordred appears at the granary during the action.

I don’t think the DMV deals with flying vehicles of any kind, and I’m not sure what the reaction of the FAA would be if this kind of vehicle existed. It’s primarily a space vehicle, actually, and I don’t think the U.S. has a government department right now to register private space vehicles.

JPuz,.Re your comment:.“I didn’t say he was. Nor did the poster I was responding to.”.Your response to Chris’s original post was, and I quote once more:.“Neither, since the fight would never happen, seeing as they’re both lawmen and would have no reason to fight.”.Last I checked, “lawman” and “cop” were essentially synonymous terms..But assuming that “lawman” is something strikingly different from “cop,” I would say that Chuck Norris is neither cop nor lawman, but has played one on TV (and several in movies)..Chuck Norris is not a member of the law enforcement profession. He is a member of the acting profession.
