BRO6164 and Sandfan, I will never forget September 11 either. Now for a different reason. My father passed away 4 years ago today.

Okay, Cappers. Anyone with the technical expertise know why my Comics and comments shrunk ? This started at some point after the turn and I’m not sure why. I can only see out of one eye, and even with glasses, I can hardly make out what I’m typing. Any suggestions ?

Thanks. No other user but I restored the default and it brought it back to normal size. I must have screwed something up earlier – but hey, at 2 am and after dinner, wine, and a couple of adult beverages in me, anything was possible.

I love the ‘SPLADOOSH’ lettering in the last panel.

Saw him again this morning. Darn kid is getting independent. When I get near, off he goes. Just wait ’til he needs money for collitch !!!-My dad was definitely a product of that mindset. He’d make me cry, as a kid, and then tell me, “Ya want sumthing’ to cry about, I’ll give ya something to cry about !” He meant it too. He was a hitter. I barely miss him a minute fraction as much as Six is missing his. My dad always had a stand offish nature. Know me, but don’t get too close cause I’m not into all that lovey dovey crap. Not a quote, but pretty much the vibe and from the bits he did say. He did very well with kids from the school bus, especially the small ones and the slow ones. He could handle trouble makers too. My Dad, Ed, was a real life Crankshaft ! -At the end of his career behind the wheel he was driving the van, the one with seats, carrying mentally and /or physically disabled kids back and forth to school. He would even buy some small toys that they would play with to pass the time. There was a person riding along who would attend the youngsters and to keep conditions safe that the driver doesn’t have unexpected things to deal with while operating the motor vehicle. Anyway, that man was a bit the mixed bag. -Hope your Friday is good. Mine would be great if not for so much heat. 95 when I was out. Rosa loved the salsa, Ken said it was a little too hot. Tammy took her less hot formula and bolted. She is on vacation; I guess she took it with her.

Awww! He sounds like he’s always on the go. I’ve noticed that most rabbits are. -I liked your story. Sounds like that school bus was very well organised and safe. I never like to talk about my childhood much. I had quite a good upbringing but there are some things which I prefer to leave in the past collecting dust.-Did Tammy go anywhere nice for her holidays? Hope she’s having an amazing time wherever she is.-I’ve been reading the Andy Capp strips during my ‘absence’ and I couldn’t believe how poor and unfunny a few of them were. I loved the September 9th one though. Others were OK-ish and one or two were not amusing at all. People who post the ‘Golden Oldies’ are GODS! I used to post them so that would make me a ‘godess’ or rather an ex-godess now as I don’t post them anymore. I just decided to let other people post them as I had been doing it for ages. -I love Andy Capp just as much as the next person. People would hate me for finding the domestic abuse hilarious but it’s only a cartoon. It’s never funny in real life. It’s wonderful to talk and interact with other ‘Andy’ fans from across the world. -Happy Wednesday to you!

Somebody just made a horrid remark to me over at Marmaduke because the image I posted in tribute of the 9/11 attacks had the word “Justice” on it.Apparently, My “elected representatives” could have prevented 9/11. He must think I’m part of that.What the HELL? I’m not even political! And I’m not American.Somebody came to my defence though.I didn’t reply. I flagged him instead. I don’t respond to low life trolls.

Once again the rare daily strip that is funny, and (even more rare) could have actually been improved as a Sunday strip, with increasingly bigger splashing sound effects……(Can you imagine the splash that an immense fat freak could make?)

AFFICIANADO, I liked today’s strip too. I like that Flo gets the spotlight sometimes. After all, Andy couldn’t booze, bet or bob in the canal without Flo to support him.
