I took AP math. Couldn’t solve a trigometric identity to save my life.

Back in the day, I broke 700 in the SAT math portion. But that was back in the day. If I took the math SAT today, the proctor would laughingly shoo me of the room about ten minutes in.

Tony’s question on Facebook – “Who gives you pep talks?” I have to give myself pep talks and I’m pretty good at it.

When I was in High School, there was no such thing as AP Math. It was just part of the college prep program.

We didn’t have “AP”, but I did have Calculus in high school (called “Analysis” because the powers didn’t think Mr. Allee could teach calculus to high school students). Helped me spin the heads of two grad students who sat next to me in the “Calculus for Health Science Students” I was permitted to sub for the required “Math for Health Science Students”. Later, when I was a substitute teacher, a weeklong assignment was yanked from me because one of the classes was trigonometry, and I hadn’t had trig in college. Nope – all my college math was calculus.

From yesterday’s discussion – A nursery I passed this morning is advertising pansies as well as the expected mums.

He forget to tell her that she is the prettiest girl in school~! Of course, if he did tell her that, she’d just say, “What? Just in school???”
