The shape of the costume eyes makes Satchel look angry with Bucky. Underneath, he has his usual trying-to-understand expression.

I agree with Bucky’s previous point, in that wearing the mask makes Satchel into a Bat Dog, at best, not a bat Man.

Sad to say, for me this strip needs a time out. It used to be my favorite, almost always worth a laugh. Now I look in once or so a week and leave humorless.
