I sometimes worry about my fellow Cappers not getting enough sleep since so many of you seem to stay up for the changeover! Today’s wasn’t too bad although the current art team is always breaking the fourth wall when it isn’t needed. It seems to be a crutch they depend upon to kind of prop up the weak jokes.
Andy’s such a charming Fellow it’s hard-to see how he gets in so-many Rows. The Guy greets and addresses Strangers directly promotes good hygiene, clean language, and is polite. Charming.
Glad everyone liked it…I thought it was hilarious!I too remember our radio being set in the living room, and even when we got a t.v., I can remember after watching the Ozzie and Harriet, that there was a radio show that my Dad liked. It was my bedtime, but I could still hear it, and the story was usually good enough that I would struggle to stay awake to hear how it ended. I know we still had the radio even after we got color t.v., but mainly we used it for listening to music. That old Philco got am/fm and sometimes ham…My sister claimed it after Daddy died and its still in use today. My nephew found an old electronics store and bought out their tubes that fit it, and stored them and he repairs it as necessary. (he is a master electrician) Still issues a great sound!
Have a great weekend Cappers. I’m off to explore Ecuador’s hidden treasures. I probably won’t check in until Sunday night. Have fun and keep Capp out of trouble.
@Whoever was on about accentsAccents are a peculiar thing. Even as close as Kansas City is to St. Louis, we’re civilized and they’re NOT! (Also, we have a better accent…….) But if you’re not from Missouri you might not even notice in the first place. (About the accent…….) I want to thank beviek for the Johnny Cash retrospective. I never had a chance to see Johnny live. Twice for Bob Dylan, twice for Willie Nelson (once they were together!), once for Kiss and Aerosmith together, once for Christina Aguilera, and I’d trade ’em ALL for once with Johnny!

Andy’s been 86’d out of every pub in town and within a 50 kl. radius, at least once in his life.
