ah, that receipt has so little chili in it to call it chili. I see its a no alarm variety, not to insult anyone, but around my house I have to make my low heat chili (2 alarm) in a 3 gallon pot and the high heat (good old 5 alarm) in a 5 gallon pot. I do both at Halloween and have the lower heat is usually the one left over.
And, if you think I am going to post my receipt here, no good chili cook would.
I have been using the same Chili recipe since I was in 10th grade Home Economics class. It is tattered and worn, but I still have it! Let’s see, that was around 1969. And since I am the one who eats the hot stuff in this house, I just load my portion up with jalapenos or Ghost Pepper Sauce.

I’m like that old hippie, The last time I scored any acid was after an extremely bad dinner at an Italian restaurant.
