He needs his privacy. This way no one else can watch him while he watches them.

If he believed in real privacy why not just board up the windows? Then he’d have his privacy and his neighbors would have theirs.

I was thinking along the same lines as wrwallaceii: One thing to make the fence perfect – roof.

Do I get Brownie Points for remembering that Wiley did a very similar cartoon in ’94?! (np941204) I think he should have combined it that with his favourite subject and had a bear using a periscope to hunt people :-)

I hope my neighbors aren’t up to anything at all – I live next to a graveyard.

There is a much easier way to gain privacy. Close your shades/blinds/drapes.

Strong fences make for good neighbours. But then again, what’s he up to…?

Let’s hope it isn’t too well made … first rain and it fills up with water!

Your privacy fence will not keep out the NSA, and they won’t let you see over their privacy fence.

I used to have a neighbor that like to sunbath nude. She moved away. I miss the “view”.

Hate to say it, but where I live he would be violating the zoning laws by putting the support strips on the outside and with a height that is not allowed.

If you want to keep the neighbors from treating you poorly, wait until they’re watching, then field strip and clean your arsenal in your backyard. Works every time, if you have an arsenal, of course.

Doesn’t take much, couple of old Browning M1919’s converted to semi-auto to stay legal, and one of those enormous .50 BMG anti-materials rifles (it’s my wife’s believe it or not, along with one of the Brownings) does JUST fine for me.

Stick an alarm company sign up that says “this house protected by Smith & Wesson” and “Intruders will be shot, survivors will be shot again”. No one will even want to look in the proximate direction of your house.

What about the bigger picture? The most secretive administration in the history of the USA is also the worst about spying on ALL OF US!p.s I liked the story about the neighbor who handed the police her binoculars.

Hardehar. Wish my neighbors lived 200 yds away, then couldn’t see and hear and smell what they’re doing. Or maybe a mile away, but I’d still hear the Z*@!&@?#*!! DOGS.

Must work for the NSA. If he was a whistleblower he’d be behind bars already.

Hmmm……..A privacy fence to keep what he is up to hidden from his neighbors??? Odd but about “normal” for today’s society , I wonder if this is training for a job with the Gov’t? Ours or theirs .

I do have to wonder if he cleared this with the city building inspector….wouldn’t a well placed knot hole do the same thing?
