Janis: Why does Ludwig do that?
Janis: Why does he like to roll over and stare at things upside-down?
Arlo: Well, it's not like he can change channels!
It’s the difference of the pull of gravity that feels good on the muscles, Janis….You don’t sleep in then same position all night long…It feels good to move around and relax all the muscles..Gravity is the great relaxer…….
I know what you mean. One of our cats has a cute habit of climbing into a plastic grocery bag and taking a nap with the paper bags already in there. (One of the grocers we buy from is self-bagging.)
I don’t believe it. Our cats always disappeared when we had sex. They only came back when we were finished. When we read in bed they alwasy shared the bed with us.
The cats I know will lie on their back, then push back your hands if you try to touch their bellies. They are not dogs and don’t like to be touched there.
Actually, when a cat presents its belly to you, it’s a sign of absolute trust, since that is their most vulnerable region. It’s their way of saying that they love you.
