Arlo: You know, you cats have a spotty reputation!
Arlo: Cats have often been viewed with suspicion!
Arlo: For example, it was once a common belief that a cat would suck a baby's breath!
Arlo: Yeah, no kiddin'.
My mother actually got rid of a Siamese Cat because it got into the crib with my baby brother. She thought the cat might be trying to smother the baby. I told her she got rid of the wrong one…
When my last cat died my dachshund expanded her own space. My wife and I were actually left with a net loss of space. A twenty pound dog with a fifty pound butt.
Prior to the Bubonic Plague decimating Europe, cats were considered evil creatures that preyed upon helpless, innocent mice. Funny how people hated such a graceful, loving animal that helped to curtail the loss of their grain crops.
Mine does…most nights he sleeps in his spot in the den; on nights that I don’t feel good, he curls up on the end of the bed….and does that until I’m better.

My cat used to sit on the end of the changing table and stroke my daughter’s face while I changed her diaper.

…your cat understands you perfectly, it is much more probable that you need to learn how to understand your cat…
