It’s easy to stop a dog from shaking. Dogs shake from the head down. Hold the head and the dog won’t shake. When you’re done bathing him or her, hold the head down, move out of the way (leaning forward to keep the head held) and then at a safe distance let go and straighten up quickly. (I’m dad to three dogs, one a large breed – German Shepherd – and two a giant breed – Neapolitan Mastiff.)

One of the reasons for which I bathe our dog mostly undressed. ;)
