I like the effect of the football bouncing in the 1st panel. One day he’ll probably be looking and looking for his false teeth only to find they have been in his mouth the whole time.Like when people find their glasses on their head.xxx
They not only get sickly, but if you are actually trying to chew rather than “melts in your mouth” you run the risk of it pulling a filling or worse. -Don’t let mom throw your B.A.s away the way moms do with some kids comic book collections that someday turned out to be worth fantastic amounts of money. -Ahh, General Melchett, bubble headed who could afford to have some other kid shine his shoes at officer training school; who can maintain the happy daddy’s little rich boy attitude while the common riff raff goes about this dirty dreary business of warring and bleeding. It was easy for guys like him to think nothing of the consequences of “going over the top”. It’s just a game to guys like that. I thought that final, final show of the Adder series was very poyg-nant.-The neighbor’s auction has nowt to do with us over here. They were doing some kind of yard work with a tractor and chain today. couldn’t see what. I painted the two window frames in the 2nd bedroom today and have to go pull the masking off after I launch this. Ed came by and we sat on milk crates outside; it was so nice of a day.-You should get one of these to make your donations go faster.
I wouldn’t let anybody throw my Blackadder DVD away. I know this sounds really stupid but it’s a valuable possession to me now. Even though I’ve only had it for 4 or 5 years.-Yes I always loved Stephen Fry as General Melchett. My favourite episode of Blackadder Goes Forth is when Blackadder kills Melchett’s carrier pigeon unaware that it was now a court martial offence due to communication problems and unfortunately Melchett was the judge who sentenced him to death by firing squad. -He manages to avoid it though thanks to George’s uncle.-Sorry for going on… I would talk about Rowan Atkinson all day if I could.-Thank you for recommending that massive pipe to make my blood donations go faster but I don’t think I’ll be needing it. My blood comes out fast most of the time. I impressed the male nurse on my first time. My blood bag was half full after a minute or two. -I’m glad your day yesterday was a nice one. I hope today is wonderful too.-Happy Wednesday to you!
My Man Godfrydaniel mentioned this Yesterdai. Does anyone have an idea of the date? The copyright is 1983, but given The Mirror’s propensity for deceit, It’s certainly not then.
@Chalkie jThat’s the one! Thanks for posting it. I’ve got all my Andy paperbacks mixed in with my other comic strip paperbacks somewhere in my basement, so it would’ve been a real challenge trying to find that one. I’m glad you saved me the trouble. I don’t know off-hand of any other mentions of Andy’s mum but there might be a few out there.

@beviekI often wonder if the current “creative” team on Andy has even one personality between the three of them. Somehow I can’t picture it……….
