Transcript:
Nice try, Doc, but it didn't work... We're dead. I... I can see a bright light... A beautiful light... Beckoning me... Calling me home... Man... I really wish I hadn't deleted that sample of heaven is real from my nook... Oh, hi, guys. Where've you been? It looks like you've already spotted the new IKEA track lighting I installed while you are away.

New lighting. lol

Apparently “May require assembly” means you assemble on the table.

From the gallows to the table, Monty at first doesn’t realize that Doc has come through at the last second and saved them from that promised swinging necktie party, affording him the opportunity for a soliloquy that we can see as ironic. E.B., it seems, has been a busy little DIYer in their absence….

@sisyphis…..what’s with this guy? …i created an account and logged in just to tell people like you that it’s a cartoon!….read it…..move on…..nothing else needs to be done, no synopsis, no editorial, no mindless insights…..go away!

I would think at this point you had already read the comic strip.

Some of us enjoy a strip better if we recap it.

I wouldnt have thought they were gone long enough for new track lighting. Doc’s time thingie must be on the fritz.

@get.a.lifeYou’re going to get a lot of use out of that account if you want to inform all comic readers that strips don’t have to be given so much attention. And you’ll probably want to drop in on book clubs and some college lit classes too to spread the word!
I think maybe you don’t get that it’s literature, and people like to get involved in literature – it’s kind of what it’s for.
(That said, I personally don’t see what sysyphos is going for with the recap, but I am nonetheless not offended by it).
