How did Americans get the idea that as long as you can make your monthly minimum you’re not really in debt?

Too many people are educated in everything but what they really need to know.
RRAmom, you are not kidding! all the time I kind of wonder what they’re teaching in schools these days…..definitely not what I was learning, obviously….
The kids today think that they are entitled to something just BECAUSE they want it, NOT because they can afford it.
Since they think that they’re entitled to it, it should be given to them (no charge to them, let someone else pay!)
I resent being the “someone else”…
