    Marg…. he means pile it on the big table right behind the checkout area…. after all, why should he have to walk all the way to the back of the store?

    Of course, that happens to be the “60% Off Clearance” table.

    So after unloading his cart, he’ll get back in line….then loudly tell Joy he sees some great stuff over on the sale table.

    Then he’ll go put everything back in his cart….and when he gets to the cashier, he’ll argue that he picked it all up from that display…. “Right there! It’s all 60% off…. Don’t you see the sign?”

    I’m with Burl on this one. Aggravates me when retailers who have volume as their business model cheap out by not having enough registers. Although I wouldn’t put it back, I’d just walk out and leave the basket in the line.
