Pasquale is looking at the little rainbow in the snow at his feet and thinking, "I think he wants to come with me..." As Pasquale walks he looks at the rainbow and thinks, "He moves very slowly!" Opening the door of the house and peering in, Pasquale calls, "Momma?" As Rose looks out the doorway at him, Pasquale says, "A lost rainbow followed me home! May I keep him?"
