A pebble says to the surrounding grass and pebbles, "My goal is to stop a human jogger! Here's my plan.." The pebble continues, "I wedge myself in the tread of one shoe.." The pebble continues, "As it lifts off the ground I leap into the second shoe.." The pebble continues, "Entering between the shoe and the sock!" The other pebbles respond, "Impossible! Can't be done! Be a realistic pebble for once!" Rose sits on a tree stump and empties her sneaker of a pebble.
