Pasquale interrupts Rose as she is reading and exclaims, "There's the kitchen timer ding! The brownies are ready!" Rose gets up and says, "I didn't hear any ding!" As the two peep into the kitchen, the timer rings, and Pasquale confesses, "I admit I was listening mostly with my nose!"
