I went to Pompeii last month during my trip to Italy. Ironically a hour from the ruins there is a town called Casino (see the comic)
I also visited the volcano…you can say it was a hot attraction….it was smoking good time

Dogsniff — I took them to be flasks for wine; Pompeii was party central so it might be expected to have drunks laying all over town… I’m just surprised they had their clothes on.

I find it interesting that he knew to avoid U but overlooked the letter that’s about 1000 years newer, ie W. And another instance of Lambda being used as an A! Oy vey! Though I used that trick cause when I finally bought the letters I had been eying since I was 5 cause the local hardware store was closing, they were out of A’s!
