I like liver, but I still shared it with the dog…only ‘cause he got some of everything I ate. ;-DI know you’re not supposed to give them “people” food, but I couldn’t resist those eyes!
I learned quite quickly when growing up, not to make comments about what my Mother fixed for us to eat. The one time I did, I got pork brain sandwiches for lunches on the following two Saturdays. Never again, I just ate what was put in front of me.
gving the dogs people food only helps to have them stare you down while you eat. and if you like your food. lol. when my father cooked, it was too good to give to the dogs.
I dunno, my dog got leftovers and was content with that. He had to be taught that begging was not appropriate, and that some food was never for him, but after that he was really never a problem.
Ugh- once kids know about pizza, ice cream sundaes and other junk food, there is nothing you can make with veggies and lean meats that they’ll like as much!
Chinese products made to feed babies who can’t tolerate milk were also contaminated, and were fed to babies in China who then died. For some time, Chinese parents who needed to use alternative products were paying people to bring in foreign versions. There had been a number of demonstrations about this (much of what goes on there is not reported in western media; the government there is very successful in suppresssing it, but it gets out on social media. I have relatives teaching English as a second language in nearby countries who pass info along.) There have also been a lot of demonstrations about the high level of air pollution in China, and its impact on children.
Our mother was such a bad cook that my brother and I would take a Sunday drive, buy a cooked Dungeness crab and eat it up. When we got home, she couldn’t understand why we weren’t hungry after she’d cooked all day.

Who said anything about liver? But, it does look like some kind of pot pie or casserole that Mike recognizes. Truth hurts.

Another insult to Elly’s cooking. She ought to make the food her family likes.

mightaswellbe: Right. Mammal liver bad; avian liver good – as long as it is breaded and fried.

But the commercial food lobby can can spend millions to keep from letting the public know by what or how their groceries are contaminated.
