Not doing anything at the moment? Volcanoes erupt, Asteroids hit. Sun heats the oceans. Nope its just man that must be blamed taxed and regulated so misguided altruists can feel they are saving the world from their kin.

one thing we can count on and that is change – it just can’t stay the same.

Mankind may have contributed to GW, but to say we did it is giving us too much importance.

    Or, the tl;dr version:

Solar and orbital factors, and all other major drivers, predict that right now earth should be in a long, slow, mildly cooling trend. Instead, we are warming…and the only thing that is changing in that direction is the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, which is largely human driven.

Logic and evidence trump your blind belief that humans cannot change the planet, which flies in the face of all evidence.

You’re a little bit late. All the latest news is about how global cooling has occurred over the past few years. It pays to stay up with what’s going on.

False; we are only in a cooling trend according to denialist spin, not according to the data. The trend of atmospheric temperature flattens over the last 15 years only because much of the heat is currently going into the oceans, something which the IPCC makes clear in their state of play. In short, you are not looking at the science; you are looking at a media illusion.

Arctic ice ISN’T coming back, for a start. And no, the science is quite clear that it is not to our benefit.. You seem to be taking the tack that whatever you believe in must be real, without fact-checking that.

The earlier warm periods were not “widely acknowledged to be warmer than today”, except in the minds of those who don’t bother reading the science. Seriously, you haven’t yet come up with anything which hasn’t been debunked a million times already; this gets old.
