Well, you’re off by at least one holiday, Halloween has never been a public holiday. Also, with few exceptions, only government and bank employees get all the others like Columbus Day.

Today’s “joke” bombed so badly that the UN is considering sanctions.It laid an egg that could make an omelet that would feed Africa for a week.

The classics today were great, but I agree with JPuzzleWhiz and respectfully disagree with Sandfan: I thought today’s was excellent. One of the few modern strips where a reader wouldn’t have to be as drunk as Andy to find it funny!

@Linda DeanI liked your pics, especially the one about the dogs and the mailman. The great detective Hercule Poirot made an interesting point about that. The mailman comes to a person’s door every morning but the master never lets him come inside: therefore the dog realizes that the mailman is not to be trusted, if his master doesn’t trust him!

That’s what I always say “You’re the one making the noise!”That man better be careful. He looks like he’s going to fall out of that window.xxx

You’re right! A lot of people say “Live life to the fullest” and “Life’s too short” The second phrase I’m not keen on! A cold doesn’t bog ME down like it would with most people. I still have the energy to comment here.-You can keep the links coming if you feel they will amuse me. But I agree when you say that we all have our own things to do every day. In my case, it’s GoComics.-I have the same trouble with my nose like what you have described especially when it’s chilly weather. I think that was the first symptom of my Hay Fever. I don’t want people to see so I keep my head down. It’s pretty embarrassing and gross.-The weather where you are sounds lovely-Hope you are doing great.
