The British mobile phone company O2 are currently running an advertising campaign encouraging their customers to “Be More Dog”.Perhaps they should employ the Wiz as an advisor.

Perhaps the premiss is that being a dog, it will be less lethargic and anti-social. That more closely matches my over all impression of the critters. And of course everyone, including me, has had experiences to the contrary.

Neighbourhood cats – I always greet and then ask if they want their ears scratched. Dogs – Always ask the human with them. Never pet a strange dog. That’s what we teach the kids.
