I’ve had PE teachers like that.

Impressive speech and shining eyes Max!

Max is an invaluable friend. He can give Phoebe a world view way beyond her own. You wouldn’t think a girl with a unicorn for a friend would need a world view expansion, but Phoebe seems to.

Is his first name Mad?

With that delivery, Max might be a good Jack Benny-style comedian.

People underestimate the use of parentheses in everyday speech.

I’m of two minds on this. That setup would have been more fun than whatever we did, but I also think I would have been one of the first to die.

I like P.E when we do basketball or softball. I hate it when we do cross country and fitness tests.

I’m so deadpan people think I’m actually serious most of the time. So they treat me like I have some sort of split personality, it’s weird.
