The thick plottens! This makes sense, when last seen, the Apparatus was going to let Abner rot in jail.

Aha! So the Black Hearts did figure out that Kadaver was a good candidate to change sides! This opens up all sorts of “double agent”-type possibilities.

Good morning, all. I love the lighting on Méliès’ head!

I didn’t mention before, but “The Murder Mansion” has an extremely nice home theatre set-up. Have you noticed how we have two so-to-speak icons of the silent film era meeting here?

I like how we see high heels on the screen in panel one, and Rikki’s high heels in panel 2. Pretty clever. Also, Melies is “funny”? Don’t think so, Rikki!Lest anyone jumps me for saying that, yes, I know Rikki meant “funny strange,” not “funny haha.” I’m just kidding around.

If the artists and writers are doing something cool by slowly letting Melies go through “lunar phases” due to the lighting, they are even more amazing than previously anticipated.

    Good morning everyone…**

I suppose Méliès does his “dirty work” when his head is in it’s darkest phase!

So, if I understand this development correctly, perhaps the showdown was not at the Wheaton Corral?.As in, the showdown is yet to come?

Aha! The Black Hearts are “turning” the most lethal assassin of the Apparatus. (I’m still unclear how the Black Hearts do or do not relate to the Consortium.) Enjoy your screening of London After Midnight, Abner and Rikki! (Or is what you are really watching just the same 45-minute reconstruction that I viewed on YouTube?) It’s back to “work” soon!

And a real cheap shot from the cheapskate:.With all these late 1960s and early 1970s disguises, by Lee as well as Franken-Mindy, is it possible that the real Mysta is not yet dead?.I mean, we are in some kind of a time warp here….So, in a nod to Chris-One out there:.If Mysta starts making dessert and discovers that she needs whipped cream, perhaps she will persuade Junior to get in the car and go to the store!

The prison break was pretty easy. I guess all the cops were taking their doughnut break at the same time….

We gonna get Nosferatu? M? Dr. Kaligari? Lon Chaney as Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde?

TraderJoe: I was being a tad facetious, noting that Mike and Joe are giving us a time warp, noted in the original post. However, knowing the Moon Governor’s infamous temper, I don’t think much of anything would endear him to Mysta Chimera (whom I prefer to call Franken-Mindy)..Which was my point back in the heyday of arguments over who and what the present Mysta is – I took a rather hard line, a fake is a fake is a fake..And by my standards, this Mysta is a fake. So fake that even her hands and her horns aren’t real, but recreations..Which is what is so scary about Franken-Mindy: Originally a petty crook herself, now infused with someone else’s DNA, does that make her good? Present indications are that this is where Mike and Joe want to take her – total reformation – though we know she has been totally brainwashed..A “trap door” indeed! Mike and Joe can do just about anything with this character that they want – Franken-Mindy is the ultimate “Gumby” in the Tracy-verse!.Which brings me to SYDNEY PHILLIPS: You may be the one that is on to something there. This may be the real Mysta and that Zy Ghote lied once again..But a spoiler that Willy007 shared with me is that, when Ghote was talking with Smith, he was telling the truth..Whatever that is, for the likes of Ghote, not even trusted by fellow crook, Mumbles..Which is where my comment came from: Mysta was introduced around 1968 and was killed 07 Aug 1978. Present characters in the Tracy-verse seem adherent to late 1960s and early 1970s fashion and styles..This is the time warp I was referring to..So, the next time Mysta needs to get some whipped cream, “Junior, could you be a sweetheart and go to the store for me? You could use your dad’s car in the driveway!”…
