Have we ever seen this “Shortcake” Mitchell guy before? I don’t remember him. There seems to be a reference to Superman battling a gangster by this name on this page. I know that Mike Curtis is a big Superman fan.

I’d love to see the floor plan for that house. I’m sure it holds many secrets…

The references are becoming more obscure. There was Sputnik Monroe and Wildwood Cemetery, home of the Spirit. Now Bill “Shortcake” Mitchell from the Crime Wave episode of Adventures of Superman. Great stuff.

This is going to be boring compared with the Mysta story.

While Tracy and his family are vacationing with Popeye and company, these people seem to trespassing in the Addams’ mansion

The Murder Mansion will live (if that’s a fitting word) up to its reputation under the management of Abner and Rikki, taking down the Apparatus one by one at the behest of the Black Hearts. Bill “Shortcake” Mitchell [IMO, not the homonymous early ’50s Superman gangster] will be Bill “Shortcareer” Mitchell—here today, gone tomorrow….

One less apparatus member down! I wonder if Dagwood joined Tracy and Popeye on the fishing trip and if Blondie joined Tess and Olive Oyl for tea and girl talk? : )
