When Chico ask how can he be certain the check is good, the other man replies, Who would give me a bad check? Chico then answers, I would!!!!
I got a final power bill when I moved…after using the deposit…I owed 28¢!! Imagine the ¢o$t of processing that!!I wrote the check out: the grand total of NO dollars and 28 whole cents…yep, they cashed it!!!
The county government I worked for wouldn’t bill for less than $2 or pay less than $5. (It is always in government favor, never the taxpayer/customer).

My college days in the early 70’s I wrote a lot of $5 checks to get my allowance from my parents.
