My initial reaction was that Phoebe realized she almost kicked her friend in the face. I hadn’t thought about the danger of horn impalement yet.

I’m reminded of this old comic where this guy kicked a pile of fallen leaves, and got his foot caught in a bear trap. Of course, it was an adult comic… :)
