Okay, this Linus van Pelt sculpting a horde of snowmen and having a one-sided dialogue is starting to get a li’l boring.
Wow. Linus is actually getting scary. He has become a megalomaniac.
Calvin would do this easily…
i thought this was extra cute
I love these.
What next, Linus? Throwing pine cones at Susie?
Linus, in spite of the naysayers I think you are amazing. Keep it up kid!
I think Linus probably inspired Calvin.
I thought Bill Watterson said at the beginning of one of his books that Schulz was one of his inspirations. Also, Schulz put an endorsement in the front of one of his books. So it’s quite likely.
Didn’t Hitler start out this way?
If you remember the 1990’s Pinky and the Brain cartoon…“The same thing we do every night, Pinky, TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!”
M. Bison: OF COURSE!
Saruman.
Minions…I haz ’em!
Of course when Calvin made lots of snowmen at once, they were usually destined to be victims of some disaster.
That’s an awful lot of carrots!
I’m sorry, Linus should have said; “I suppose you are all wondering why I called you hear today?”
I’m loving this week’s theme perhaps a bit more than I ought to…but then again Linus has always been one of my favorite comic characters.
Little Mussolini.
The Peanuts have been around long before Calvin was dreamed up. More than likely, it is Linus that inspired Calvin.
I don’t know of anyone that has a hairstyle like Linus anymore. Only older people maybe.
“Yes! We are all individuals!”
I think he has been watching too much “Doctor Who”- “The Snowmen” !!!
Austrian accent.
Victory is Linus’!

Awesome.
I suspect that, like Charles Schulz as a child, the kids live in Minnesota. Lots of snow in Minnesota.
I bet all the snowmen will freak Lucy out when she comes home. :)
Charles Schulz was indeed an inspiration to Bill Watterson, his Calvin snowmen are quite a tribute.
The White Shirts.
Funny how this rerun is better than most modern strips. This is a great story arc. Love it.
