Uh-huh. I am glad you’re not trying to impress your boss, Burl. Your plan is a success! Good job! I am a m a z e d that Burl can keep his job, let alone be a candidate to manage a new unit. It takes all kinds……speaking of which……Thank You, Susan Sunshine for your kind invitation. I feel like I am talking you a celebrity I’ve been following you all so long…..
Big reveal: Burl’s boss is trying to kill him! There’s no new unit. There’s no promotion. The only thing faster than racquetball, I think, is squash. How long before Burl would have “the big one?” Maybe one minute? Less?
Good thing he’s NOT trying to impress the boss…. cos he doesn’t.
Maybe Mikie’s right… or maybe it’s a practical joke one regional manager wants to play on another.
Ship him off to another state, laughing like a hyena at the imagined face of his colleague140 miles away, discovering what a fine piece of work was pawned off on him.
Hey, I guess Burl could at least make a big impression on the boss…if he SAT on him.
Ice cream after all those doughnuts… Yea that’ll do it.
A new unit to manage? Well that’ll bring in new stuff to bring home. "Lookie Joy someone tossed out 6 month old ding dongs!!! package isn’t even open..
Maybe it’s out of crustwood area and they will have to move.
I think we’ve seen Burl and the other 2 stooges playing (?) before. I think Mikie is right on the “death game” aspect or maybe his boss just wants to be in a situation where he can physically smack Burl and say it was an accident.
One thing about the U-Store it company, they have a lot of management plus Mr. Drake or whatever his name is loaded, they make a lot of money. They ought to have a storage wars auction for the deadbeats, and have Jerry buy the contents of a unit. When Verl starts to drag stuff out he will realize it is his stuff.
Cheez-whiz, Burl reminds one of what Homer Simpson might look like with more scalp hair and eyeglasses. At least Burl isn’t “watching” a monitor at a nuclear power plant!! THAT even made Alfred E. Neuman once famously quote: Yes! Me WORRY!!
B-Man on the business ball again. He knows this corporate hack was sent to Crustwood to get him on board. Burl is in the driver’s seat and knows how to get what he wants for his staff and family.

I think the actual phrase that Burl is going for is he “doesn’t mix business with exercise”!
