What did Gil do to make his transition so smooth, besides letting him join the team without speaking? Tip Nunn is the one who deserves the credit for befriending Pascoe and giving him a social life and a budding romance.
Parent conferences? Looks more like an open house, with a few parents just wandering around. Why did these people even show up?“What I can tell you is, he’s capable of incredible acts of violence, but he’s never been convicted of felony murder.”
Did Mr. Walther run around to Gil’s other side in invisible panel P2.5? Their strikingly similar faces and abrupt position change tripped me up as to who was saying what in P3.
But what I can tell you is……..1)he’s your long lost love child.2)we’re pretty sure he’s stopped burning down schools.3)his dream is to resume his opera career.4)he was raised by wolves.
What I can tell you is this.. “He was frightened by a strange peacock that kept showing up unexpectedly. Doctors told us that unless he faces his fears and meets another peacock he may never talk again. Oh, if only there were a magical peacock in Milford.”
There is NO way that the parent teacher conferences would be held out in the open in a gym or cafeteria. Confidentiality would not permit this. I also agree that the Gilfather would already know about this.
Actually, ohiobobcat, I’ve now been at two schools that have done conferences this way. Parents can see which teachers have a line of parents in front of them and which do not – tables are sufficiently far enough apart to maintain confidentiality. But forget all that. I’m trying to figure out why Mrs. Walther has a serving spoon stuck on the back of her blouse.

GIl’s reply in P1 should be “I know – you told me in panel 3 on Saturday”.

In Panel 3 is Gil talking to his twin brother, or is he shaving in front of a mirror?

Hmmm, this must be important because Gil got up from behind his authority-strengthening table to have this conversation.

P3- While Gil is chatting up the Walthers, Mimi is daydreaming about those dreamy mojitoes Pedro whips up poolside at Thor Pa Mansion

Is that Mimi the good angel on Gil’s right shoulder? Where is the devil Mimi?

In all reality, we can tell you that John has a obsession for your wife. Perhaps Mimi can take him to the one night rodeo and loosen his tongue.

What I CAN tell you is “because of your help, we’re hoping he gets a football scholarship offer from Marcel Marceau University”

Dang, hate these wasted panel days! Without the useless P1, we could’ve had one additional panel of the story.

In panel one it looks like Mr. Walthers uses the Jimmy Johnson method of hair control.
