If he were talking to a Japanese group, they’d stage-whisper “READING!” loud enough for him to hear. A good presentation should add new material to the speaker’s lecture.I’ve been to presentations like the one in this cartoon, and I give them low marks on their feedback forms. And while the presenter is trying to bore me to death, I look at what he/she is saying, and find other angles to look at the topic, find loopholes in the logic, or try to come up with relevant questions that the presentation doesn’t answer. Make those boring presenters WORK for their audience!! :)
