The temperature is rising over the decades, and the result is more and more extreme weather. Read a little more about it before you comment. It’s more complicated than a sound bite.

global warming is real. but, some people don’t believe in it because it isn’t in their religious text. they also don’t believe in dinosaurs for the same reason.

Please don’t say we hate and fear science. We detest scientists that lie and falsify data to support their theory. Emails from these so called scientists show that they lied, used faulty data and schemed, with each other, to promote their false narrative. Wake up and smell the roses. If you can answer this, how did man change the Sahara desert from a lush tropical paradise to the desert that it is now, and I will believe.

Why would a scientist lie about climate change?

Most sane people believe that climate change is happening, based on evidence and facts, the only problem is the deep division as to what’s causing it.

Because science requires intelligence, thought and understanding as opposed to blind, unquestioning obedience.

Clearly global warming is caused by air conditioners and refrigerators, which cool by moving heat from inside a house or enclosure to the outside. Haven’t you noticed how hot it gets outside when everyone is using their air conditioners? Q.E.D. :)

Let’s put your graph in context. Yes, you are correct (as in not lying) that sea ice is higher than last year, but…

From the National Snow and Ice Data Center:

“This September, sea ice covering the Arctic Ocean fell to the sixth lowest extent in the satellite record, which began in 1979. All of the seven lowest extents have occurred in the last seven years, since 2007. Satellite data analyzed by NSIDC scientists showed that the sea ice cover reached its lowest extent on September 13. Sea ice extent averaged for the month of September was also the sixth lowest in the satellite record.”

There are year to year fluctuations, but the recent trend is clearly toward less sea ice. Your graph is correct as far as it goes, but it does not depict the recent trend.
