Good morning, all! I tought Halloween was over…and can a circus performer turned bartender afford Kadaver’s surely high fees? Besides, Kadaver tried once and failed!
So, it seems that Stiletta is probably not on Mr. Kadaver’s hit list, but she has a hit list of her own, so I think we can safely assume that such a list would consist of Dick Tracy, right?
The Tracyverse is a scary place, and rapidly getting scarier. As Abner Kadaver reels in commissions from varied clients, his unique services available to any bidder if the price is right, or so it seems, the odds are that Dick Tracy and his media frenemies, Wendy Wichel and Christmas Early, will be on someone’s hit list. If Tracy ends up paranoid about TV appearances, it will be for good reason….
i had thought stiletta was on the hitlist provided to abner as well dajelly… now i am not so sure!
maybe stiletta wants to “rub out” bb eyes, mumbles and doubleup for their debacle at the wheaton farm.. besides, she STILL has blackjack on her side.. tho he may prove a “sticking point” if they are (literally) gunning for tracy!
Hmmm, I wonder who Mrs. Flattop will ask Kadaver to kill? Could it be our favorite detective, Dick Tracy? And could she also double-cross B.B. Eyes and the rest of the Apparatus even though Milies already asked Kadaver to do that? Kadaver might take full advantage of that and get paid twice for the same job!
syd, just a note here.. about mike “planning ahead” with h is stories.. that’s nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to comic book writers… i know from information given to me first hand (from kurt busiek actually) that when a writer “auditions” (for lack of a better term) for the job writing a comic.. they USUALLY go into the process with at LEAST two years worth of stories already planned out and “rough drafted”
dunno if it is the same process that mike works under, but i thought i would throw that in there
Seems that several posters today can’t abide by you making polite conversation, and feel the need to ‘poke the bear’. I, for one, am enjoying your comments. As for the negative ones out there, you know what they say: “If they can’t take a joke…”

Eventually Dick Tracy is going to be paranoid about going on TV….every time he does, someone tries to kill him.

I’m not sure but it looks like Abner is smiling .

She doesn’t know it. But the special contract is on her. I don’t think that Abner is pleased that someone knows where his secret hideout is located.

Kadaver is so ugly I bet his mom put his diapers on backwards. I hope Mrs Flattop washes her right hand.

Now if this were a comic BOOK, they’d’ve figured out a way to bring Flattop back by now.

I don’t think Stiletta is a member of the Apparatus. Her only interest is to kill Tracy.

There you go – - _*lustily*_thanking Mike and Joe for the “Popeye interlude” . . .
Perhaps YOU – should take some credit ! (?)
Possibly, they’ve been reading your - Marty and Spud and noted how well those “regularly” appearing *"*crossovers*"* have done. ?
How do they say it ?“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery !”You should sleep well tonight !*
