Hope the weather has warmed up for all you people in the west. Going to be in mid 50’s with showers today and then get colder by Tues. and Wed. Down to the 30’s.
Good morning, Vagabonds. I did some swimming (finally!) yesterday and ran a lot of errands and came home worn out. Walgreens had a special on raw almonds (just a little over what Costco charges) and I enjoyed them very much.
Good morning Vagabonds..Still in the thirties, still grey, yuck..After what I just saw on the news from Texas I must ask, do you have chains for your car?.Is it warming up out your way Montana Lady?.Well, I guess I move along now..ttfn
Yep…….it’s still cold! That Arctic Blast is still heading our way from Siberia! It got down to MINUS 17,9 during the night!! Supposed to warm up to minus 5 today. BRRRR (again)! Unfortunately, we have an appointment for some routine maintenance on our car down at the dealer, so we have to go out………double BRRRR!
We started watching the Boston Legal series all over again. That show was sooooo clever and funny!
It turns out that my report of 50 degrees yesterday was because the sun was shining directly on the thermometer outside. It didn’t get above about 43. We are experiencing what is known in weather circles as “record low maximums”, that is we are setting records for the lowest recorded high temperature on a given date. I think I’ll stay home today.
We will be going to a friend’s Christmas party tomorrow, so I need to make my famous chex mix plus some potato chip candy to take with us. Something tells me no one will be sitting outside around the fire this year……
This just in: Massive disappointment! My nephew, from whom I heard a couple of days ago for the first time in years just wants money. This is a pattern in my brother’s family that has been going on since his 9 kids became adults. If they need something, they come to us for money. If we say “no” then we never hear from them again. We cut them all off years ago, which is why they never call, write or text (aside from an occasional “butt-dial”)

Morning, Vagabonds. Heading to central Texas today to see the Christmas lights in San Marcos. It’s snowing there, so we’re taking our warmies.
