So, I guess Bonnie’s moving back in with her parents. Teaching positions have been cut all over, since the recession hit. At least, I know there are all kinds of cutbacks in post-secondary institutions.

Actually, that’s “teacher speak” for, “My contract wasn’t renewed and that idiot of a principal let me go.” It’s not the teachers screwing things up out there folks, it’s the administration including spineless self-serving school boards. And please don’t even get me started on that No Child Left Behind farce.

If Dick has black hair, and Tess is a redhead, how come Bonnie is a blonde? Just asking. :-)

Chicagoland TV anchor (chn. 7) Ron Magers grew up on the Yakima reservation; I wonder if he is a friend of Bonnie Braids? Her situation is very realistic, in terms of teachers losing jobs and young adults returning home to live with (i.e., off of) mom and dad….

In Traceyland they have plenty of time.

My recollection of the Boney & Claudine case is that it was never made clear whether Bonnie and Joe were boyfriend/girlfriend or just friends. I certainly don’t recall anything about the two of them getting married.^^He was her BF, I guess things didn’t work out

Just thought that I note that it is the city and county of Yakima, but the Yakama Indians insist on spelling it as the Yakama Reservation.

That’s right Bonnie. Do what most young people do when times get hard out there. Go home and mooch off mom and dad till you get back on your feet. Its the American Way!

By the way, I wasn’t coming down hard on Bonnie. She was invited back by her mother, so I’m sure her mother has no objections and I don’t think Dick does either, regardless of what people here are reading into his expression.
