Squirrel: They're taking all of them...even the dried-out ones!
Squirrel: We were sitting on a treeful of collectibles!
Squirrel: Next year we'll hold on to our leaves!
Banana and palm fronds fall year-’round here in Florida. But they are easier to gather than oak leaves, certainly. And some of those palm fronds have SPIKES a couple of inches long. OUCH!!!
Our leaves go into a green toter and the trash company turns it into mulch. Our recycles go into a blue toter. Leo Busgalia tells a wonderful story about Fall leaves. I love Fall. Happy friday all.
I live on 22 acres of woods, raking leaves is NOT an option. Enjoying the sound and smell of several inches of leaves under foot is. My front yard is just mossy rocks, scraggly grass, violets in season, and mint.

“…dead spots in the lawn…”Which come in handy where there’s something you don’t want stubbornly growing there.
