Dachshunds are fierce dogs, despite their size. When in a pack, they will fight larger dogs and sometimes other wild animals. (They only did this until we called them off! ) They are very brave. They are good snake hunters for a farm. We raised and sold them for many years. They are very smart, affectionate animals.
