Want to lose weight ? Try doing a lot of walking ( build up gradually ) and start eating fresh, non-processed foods. Since I moved to Ecuador back in May, I have lost about 45 lbs and feel terrific ! ( I’m still around 200 lbs. – which is fine for my 6’ frame and age ). Funny thing, I eat more starches ie. rice, potatoes, pasta and more lentils ( beans etc.) than in the States but I’m not putting on fat and my cholesterol and blood pressure are great.I really think the problem with foods ( including fruits and veggies ) in the U.S. is how they are grown and processed.Ecuatorianos have weight and diabetis problems because they have a sweet tooth and go for sugary drinks and desserts and many, like their counterparts in the States, have become "couch potatoes ".

Probably a lot more fiber, too.

I’m on two diets at the same time… you get more food that way.

I must’ve been 3 or 4 when I had my first ice cream cone. The cone looked like cardboard to me and I was reluctant to try eating it.
