Frazz by Jef Mallett for December 04, 2013
Transcript:
Mrs. Olsen: Nice report, Caulfield. You actually read the book. Caulfield: It wasn't easy. Booring! Mrs. Olsen: Remember: Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. Caulfield: I did not question her experience with either. So thanks for the advice on the on-deck circle in my brain. Frazz: No sweat.

Night-Gaunt49: Might as well take something from him. He took enough from his employees who did most of the work: credit, royalties, and sometimes paychecks. He was also buddies with Ford and Firestone, the principal foreign financiers of Hitler’s rise to power. No, Edison kept it, Tesla wanted to give it to the public for the public good. It is easy to see not only which man won, but which philosophy did, and society is poorer because of it.

Hippogriff: better stated than I did; thank you. If not for Edison we might now have free broadcast energy.
